Sunset's Toy Breed Puppies

Our little Heidi is 12 weeks old today, Jan. 3rd. We have loved her since the first day I brought her home! She is a loving, funny, smart little bundle of joy! She has 2 cat sisters with whom she chases and tries to play with and it's so cute to watch. Heidi is eating well, weighs 3.8 lbs. now, is learning to sit, stay and she sleeps thru the night. She gets very excited when my husband comes home from work as she knows the word "daddy". We both love her a lot so thank you Leah and Karen for giving us such a wonderful puppy! New Year hugs, Ellen & Randy

Hey Leah, It’s Ashley, mother of Gabby. She is 7 months now and just got spayed 2 weeks ago. The vet said she is healing well. She is so smart, she can sit, stay, lay down, give her paw, and the latest one, dance. She also loves her travel carrier, and the second I get it out she jumps in. She is the cutest dog weighing in at 2.9 lbs. She’s gotten bigger but hasn’t gained any weight its crazy!! I’m sending some pictures. She’s growing up so fast but I love her more and more every day. Merry Christmas and Happy New year! Ashley

Hi! Happy New Year (almost). Just wanted to tell you we got to NYC with no problems (well, a little motion sickness) but Jake is such a champ and he is already ruling our apartment, we cannot believe how much we love him! Everyone just melts the second they see him!! We are so in love with him, we are spoiling him of course, and spending a lot of time bonding and playing, and we just can't thank you enough for bringing this joy into our lives!!! You have been so wonderful to communicate with, and you are so good to your customers, really amazing! We will be in touch, but I just wanted to let you know that Jake is healthy, happy, and getting settled in with no problem! We have attached some pictures, He has so many sweaters, at first he did not like them at all, but now he is really getting used to them:) Many, many thanks!!!! Emily and Doug

Hi Leah, I've been busy with our sweetie pie. Everyone LOVES her. Isabelle (teacup Chi) is doing amazingly well. She has pottied on her paper (or right beside her paper - ha ha) several times. I took her to her food dishes a couple of times with no success. I took her tonight, and dipped my finger in the water and touched her mouth, and she began to drink from her water dish. I also swished her food around with my finger and she ate 4 little nuggets. I put her on the paper, and she walked over onto the carpet and started to poopy, I quickly picked her up and put her on the paper, and bingo, she did her little business. She LOVES her little bed and took an hour nap cuddled up on my neck, and a half hour nap on my son's tummy. She is sleeping quite a bit, but also gets up and bounces around and plays quite a bit, too. You can tell she misses her home some, but she is transitioning very well. We are all very gentle with her. I take her to the vet tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. We absolutely adore her. She is such a cuddler. She's asleep in her little bed, with her bunny and a couple of chew toys now. She is doing absolutely wonderful! I expect her to cry some tonight, but she is sooo quite. I believe she will be running the show before long. Thanks for everything! I will stay in touch from time to time. I've attached these pics also, as I think they got a little distorted when I inserted into e-mail. Please feel free to use on her website if you like. Isabelle's Mom (Gina)

Hi Leah & Karen, Ellie (Phoebe X Sinful Passion) is just the cutest thing I have ever seen. Shes a little spit fire though. She's always busy. She has already mastered the stairs! When we pull her away from them she cries. I just taught her how to sit The first night when we all went to bed she cried. She's so playful. The other day I couldn't find her, so I went upstairs and she was jumping around in front of a mirror. She's just a little bundle of energy. It's hard to keep up with her but we do. Thank you so much and I'll be sure to keep in touch. Hannah

Leah - I thought you and Karen might like to see Max (Justas Luvable x Little Man) "roughing" it in his new environment. He is doing great and we are loving him! Leigh

How are you? I just got back from Myrtle Beach. Cooper is doing so good. I definitely forgot what it was like to have a puppy. So much energy!!! He is a very good boy when I work with him. If I ignore him at all, he will find ways to get my attention. I bought a new digital camera and haven't even taken the time to play around with it other than taking the pictures. I will try to down load the pictures soon and send you one on of him. He's so pretty. He lost all of the thick puppy fur and it's so silky now. No one mistakes him for a pot belly pig any more. It didn't help that he's a digger and his nose is always full of dirt. I am very happy with him. Can't wait to see the new puppies on your web site. I still look at it often. Take care. Joanie

Hi Leah I wanted to give you an update on Teagan and send you a picture of him with the girls. They both absolutely love him. We all do. He is just like another one of my kids. We sit and play with him and do lots of laughing at all the cute things he does. He is a pure joy to have around. He has been in his backpack three times now. He loves it. I put him in there, then put it on my back and he looks around for a little bit then lies down and goes to sleep. He went to the ballfield with us today in his backpack and everyone just loved him. All of the girls' friends (and mine too) can't get over how sweet he is. You and Karen do an excellent job with the pups. He is very sociable and even though he is playful he has a laid back personality. Again, I thank you so much for everything. We love our little Teagan boy!!!! Deanna, Tom, Leah and Carly

Hello Leah and Karen, Taz (Taco’s Yorkihuahua male #3) is doing wonderful! We arrived home about 8:00 pm last night and the kids were eagerly awaiting our arrival. Taz was such an angel on the 8 hr. ride home. He slept most of the time and if he awoke and needed to go potty he would start to whimper and I would put him down on the newspaper on my passenger floor and he would take care of business. What a smart puppy! He never got sick or fussed, he drank some water and had a couple puppy treats and lots of kisses from me. Everyone just adores him. We really would like to thank you on the wonderful setup you have and job you do with your puppies and most of all for providing us with such a precious gift. We couldn't be happier! Enclosed are some pictures we had taken last night and we promise to keep you updated with more on a regular basis. Thanks Again, Renee Michaels
He's doing fantastic! We are so happy to have him here. He's the sweetest little puppy. He's playful, really easy going, great with the kids. We couldn't have hoped for more. He braved the 9.5 hour car ride remarkably and, as a result, is a terrific traveler now. He's using the potty pad like a champ! He's really just the smartest thing! We are so happy. Thanks so much for guiding us to the perfect pup for our family. He's beautiful and so obviously well taken care of. Pictures are attached for you enjoyment. We're still making the transition with the cats (Eisenhower and Truman are still getting used to the "bunny sized" play thing!) so we pulled out the pack and play for him to chill in. He loves it. Lots of room, lots of toys. It gives him some down time for the kids. Working really well! We will keep in touch with lots more pictures to come! Heather
Hi Leah, Her name is Kahzi. The drive home was a long one. She cried for about four minutes until she adjusted to the ride and fell asleep of and on for the rest of the ride. She is adjusting really well. I am so pleased with her. She is using the training pad. She is such a happy and playful puppy. She has discovered the mirror and loves playing with the "other puppy" in the mirror. I bought her a few toys but her favorite toy seems to be the plastic yellow cap from the can of starch. We will be moving to our permanent home by next week. I do have pictures of her. They are attached. Thank you for my new baby! Dale
Hi Leah, Here is a current picture of our little darling, Jazzie. She has just been a joy and has brought a lot of new energy into the house. Everything revolves around her. We are always trying to think of things to buy to make her more comfortable and happy. She’s such an outgoing, loving puppy and so smart too! She was going on the 'pee pad' right away, sleeping through the night after a couple of days and listens to us when we give her direction. She’s been doing SO good and she’s such a sweetheart. We all love her so much and she’s just a joy to have around. We are in a fairly new home so we had to fence our back yard for her to be able to run and play. The first day we were able to take her out, she just ran like the wind!! She was so much fun to watch. Wow we did not know how fast she was and she just loves it outside. But she will not go out alone, we have to go with her. I guess we've got her spoiled like that. She uses it outside most of the time and only uses pee pads when we are gone for a long time or if the weather is bad. She’s so easy to train, smart as ever!! She’s still only about 2.8 lbs. Tina & Kenya
Hi, Leah and Karen. Oreo (Chi-A-Pap, Paige x Hot Stuff, # 2 female) is doing GREAT! We have had NO accidents, isn't that wonderful =) When we brought her home Saturday she was very shy, but now she has really let her personality shine! A lot of my family members came to see this little bundle of joy that my family and I had been talking about for a long time. They all instantly fell in love with her, but who wouldn’t, she is SO cute =) Her first night at the house went very well. My family played with her the whole night, and sure enough she slept all night, and didn't whine one bit! This morning though, we couldn’t find her! My dad had to work this Sunday, so he got up very early, and as he went to check on Oreo, in her puppy crate, she was gone! My dad went and told my mom, who was getting ready for Church. I overheard them talking and my dad said the puppy is gone! I jumped out of bed at 5:00 am and starting searching the house. My mother went downstairs to my brother's room and sure enough my brother (who is 17) had gotten up in the middle of the night, got Oreo out of her crate, and took her downstairs to sleep with him in his bed! We left her in he puppy crate while we where at Church. My brother and I came home early though so we could be with her and let her pee. When she looked up at me, with them little blue puppy eyes, I instantly fell in love with her, and so did the rest of my family. My mother loves her, my brother loves her, I love her, and my dad, well he is getting use to her lol. My mom and dad said that we would never get a house dog, but there is just something about this puppy, something special, something wonderful. It's funny how a little ball of fur can bring a family closer together, and we are thankful for that and for her! Thank you so much Karen and Leah, you guys are really doing a GREAT job with the puppies! We will keep in touch, and Thanks a bunch! =) I Have attached a few pictures. Callee
Hi Leah, Gracie (Paige’s Chi-a-Pap #1) is the most wonderful little dog. I have been taking pictures and I will send you some soon. I was amazed at how much she loves children and other little dogs. My niece had her 1st birthday party this weekend and Gracie came with us to her house and she just followed Ally (my niece) and my two-year-old, Aiden, around everywhere like she was one of them. I could not have asked for a better dog. She is absolutely precious in every way. She cuddles up as close to us as she possibly can and chases our toes just like Karen said. I'll send another update along with pictures hopefully later this week. Thanks for everything! Tori
Hi Leah, I know it's been awhile since I emailed. We have been pretty busy. Miah and I went to my mom's in TN on Sunday and just got back on Tues. Miah loves to go to my moms because she has a toy poodle and a yorkie poo. They have a lot of fun together. Miah got her first grooming while we were there, I love the top knot but Miah always shakes her head and whatever I put in there falls out. LOL so we just got her trimmed all over. She is such a sweety, I just love her soooo much. I need to load my pics on the computer from my camera and then I will send you some. Sorry It has been so long since we talked. I will get you some pics out ASAP. LOL Talk to you soon. Cindy
Hey Leah and Karen, Bella (Lexi's #3) and I got home a couple of hours ago. Everything went very well, she slept most of the way home and got a little sick, but nothing we couldn't handle. Now she is sitting and watching me type! She is such a snuggler and is as sweet as can be! She has already used the "pee pee pad" like a pro! I'm sure she is tired from all the excitement and trying to get settled in. I will write back in a few days to let you know more as she gets used her new home! I want to thank both of you for bringing her into my life! She is just a doll!!! Thanks :) Jessica
Jasper (Lexi's male #1) rode all the way home as if he had traveled in a car a million times before. Pretty amazing. He acted as though he knew he was where he belonged. Not the least bit nervous, anxious or upset. Short naps, lots of cuddling, a little playing, and a huge amount of adorable looks while sitting on my lap the entire time. What a huge blessing! He is wore out and sleeping right now. My maltepoo (if I spelled that right) "Buster" loves him and they both hit it off immediately. Buster is 8 and a perfect big brother. Talk to ya soon! Jerry
Karen and Leah. We arrived home safely around midnight last night. The babies were perfect. No sickness, no problems. They are both doing fine and adjusting really well. They go to the Vets tomorrow, both for checkups, and whatever. Regis is a troublemaker. He is constantly at her and she gets really teed off. She had him in a headlock a few times on the way home as we held them all the way home. It didn't work in the crate because they constantly squabbled! What a riot, I would hold one and my son would hold the other. Whereas, Pipa slept and was quite docile all the way, Regis was a little devil. But, a happy little devil. We laughed at them both all the way home. It rained the whole way. That was a pain, but they didn't seem to mind. Saturday night at hotel, they slept through the night, and last night here they did the same. They are a joy. My son wants to bring everyone home from school today to see them. I told him NO!, give us all some time. My husband came home early today, and as I write to you Regis is laying on his chest fast asleep in his lazy boy and Pipa is sleeping on my son's fleece blanket on the floor next to the crate. They have had a few piddling accidents, but minor for their age. My neighbors have a huge sign that they had made up across our lawn that says WELCOME HOME REGIS AND PIPA with picture of dog faces on each side, more like a banner. We couldn't believe it. Today everyone is calling to see if the can come see them so later today, we will be having company. Hope they perform for the company as the have been doing for us. We have just been laughing at them nonstop. They are just so cute. Every placed we stopped for gas, I would bring them back to their crate to feed and potty. At one gas station we saw a small lab and 2 guys letting him potty and they saw ours and we started conversation. Told them we went all the way to Buffalo, KY from northern MA for them and well worth it. They had gone all the way to California from Connecticut for their little lab. WOW, and we thought we had it bad??!! We were very impressed with your business and how you take care of your animals, the TV in the kitchen of the dogs, etc etc. Thank you so much for these two bundles of joy. Will keep in touch with their progress and let you know what the VET has to say tomorrow. I was glad that he was able to see them both so soon as I only expected Regis to have the appointment. Thanks again for everything. All is going just GREAT......Linda
Hi, We just got home, 2:46 am. She is wonderful, she is a lover. She did great in the van and is now eating & drinking, and went potty on the newspaper. I just love her and as soon as we get some pictures I will email to you! Thank You very much! I'll keep you posted! Her name is "Beautiful Bella." Thanks, Laurie
Hey, Leah! Here are some pictures finally! I still cannot get over this puppy. My boyfriend and I are completely in love with him (Honey x Little Man). He has been such a hit with my friends and family. I love watching him help us open presents, there is one picture of him in a gift box. The black and white one is one of me when we got home, one is of him and Kyle asleep on the couch and the other is the friend that came with me. I wanted you to see how he rode all the way home in her sweatshirt! Thank you for all you did, we really appreciate it! Happy Holidays - Maggie, Kyle, and "Ace"
Hello Ladies, I pray your Christmas has been wonderful! I just had to share a couple of sweet pictures of our Luke. We really do not know what we did without him. He has simply changed the dynamic of our home. He has miraculously brought my 15 year old son and my 10 year old daughter together. He is our little miracle worker. Thank you for this little bundle of furry love. He may be small but he has a giganormous ability to give love and bring out the best in everyone. Thank you and God Bless! The Osbornes, Josh, Teahna, Zach, Olivia, and Luke
Leah, We love him so much!! Sweeny (Honey’s Male #1) is doing great, no accidents on the way home but he was very nervous all night and sleepy. I slept with him on the couch and Joshua had him for a few hours too. No whining, just up one time to pee. The next morning he was a whole new puppy. Up running around playing with us chasing his little ball and all kinds of things. He's settled in pretty nicely where as at first he was stick to one room in the house and now he's all over! He has brought so much joy to us and I am so grateful for him. I'm attaching 4 photos. The first three are when I first got home to see him from work and then one yesterday morning when he started to open up. Thanks so much and we will be in touch!! Glenda
Hi Leah, We love Rudy! He went for his last shot on Tues and has gained 3 lbs. Rudy is a typical puppy and is spoiled rotten. Amanda loves her new puppy! Thanks! Merry Christmas! After Christmas we are moving to a house across the street from where we are now. The house has a much bigger yard for Rudy. Kerry Chandler
I apologize for the delay in emailing you. But I have the chance now, and I’d better take advantage or I won’t remember until I’m crawling in bed tonight!! We are so happy with Toby (Shadow's Male #2) and want to thank you so much for the wonderful addition to our family. He is getting along wonderfully with my Rat Terrier-Roxie, and my other Chihuahua-Bitty Girl. It seems they want to act like puppies again too! Here are a few pictures, that I’ve taken just yesterday and this morning. We had him checked out with our vet in Mt. Juliet and he says he’s a wonderful, strong little guy. He’ll return on the 16th for his next round of shots. Thanks again. And I’ve passed your names along to my aunt, who is now considering a little house dog. I let her know how impressed we were with your professionalism and what a wonderful environment you give your puppies. That they are not just coming out of a messy cardboard box, they are truly loved and cared for. Take Care, and have a wonderful and SAFE Holiday season. Jennifer
Hey Leah, Lil' Max (Yorkie-Poo, Ember x Little Man) is doing just great! The car ride went surprisingly well. No messes! I can't hardly believe he's here! Ryan and I were talking on the way back and realized only a few months a go he was just a mere fantasy! Who would have thought we'd be bringing home such a beautiful puppy! We were worried to how he'd socialize with Ryan's roommates' dog, Fendi, a cute little Schnoodle. They hit it off great! Fendi ran around the couch and Lil' Max tried so hard to follow her; by the end of the night those two were pooped! I have a picture of them in a little puppy bed. It's so amazing how something so tiny can bring so much joy into two peoples lives. Some may say he's lucky to have such a loving home, but I'd like to think we're the lucky ones getting the privilege to watch him play and mature throughout his life. As you can tell, Max has stolen our hearts, and we love love love him - Even when he has those little accidents! Haha! P.S. Attached are some rather adorable pictures. If you ask me I think we are proud parents of the cutest pup alive! Thanks, Andi
Leah & Karen, Austin is a great joy already. He flew home very well considering his age, that it was his first trip & he was in a confining carrier (as little as possible). I carried him in my arm most of the time, except when we boarded the plane. He received lots of attention from many people in the airport. I was very proud, but kept them at a distance because I did not want him to catch cold from anyone. I have attached the few photos that I took yesterday. The last one is when we finally got home Saturday night. I’ll send more photos later. My vet said he is in great shape. My partner & I cannot thank you enough for helping to bring such a joy back into our lives. Scott
